Galapian is a French municipality with 316 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Lot-et-Garonne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Aquitaine ). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Agen and the canton of Le Confluent ( Port-Sainte-Marie until 2015 ).

Galapian is about 17 kilometers west-northwest of Agen . Galapian is surrounded by the neighboring communities Bourran in the north, Saint-Salvy in the east, Bazens in the south, Port-Sainte-Marie in the south and south-west, Lagarrigue in the west and south-west and Aiguillon in the west and north-west.
