Lacépède ( Occitan : La Cepeda ) is a French municipality with 320 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Lot-et-Garonne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . Lacépède is located in the Arrondissement of Agen and belongs to the canton of Le Confluent (until 2015: Canton of Prayssas ). The inhabitants are called Lacépèdais .
geography
Lacépède is about 20 kilometers northwest of Agen . Lacépède is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Sardos in the north, Montpezat in the north-east, Prayssas in the south and east, Saint-Salvy in the south and south-west, and Bourran in the west and north-west and Lafitte-sur-Lot in the north-west.
