Cauzac ( Occitan : Causac ) is a municipality with 423 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in France in the department of Lot-et-Garonne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016: Aquitaine ). Cauzac belongs to the Agen arrondissement and the canton of Le Pays de Serres (until 2015: canton of Beauville ). The inhabitants are called Cauzacais .

geography

Cauzac is about 18 kilometers east-northeast of Agen in the valley of the Petite Séoune . Cauzac is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Cassignas in the north and north-west, Frespech in the north, Blaymont in the north and east, Beauville in the east, Dondas and Saint-Martin-de-Beauville in the south, Saint-Robert in the south-west and Laroque-Timbaut in the west.
