Prayssas ( Occitan : Praissàs ) is a French municipality with 998 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Lot-et-Garonne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . Prayssas is located in the Agen arrondissement and belongs to the canton of Le Confluent (until 2015: Canton of Prayssas ).

Prayssas is about 15 kilometers northwest of Agen . Prayssas is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Lacépède in the north and northwest, Montpezat in the north and northeast, Laugnac in the east, Madaillan in the east and southeast, Lusignan-Petit in the south, Frégimont in the west and southwest and Saint-Salvy in the west and northwest.
