Laroque-Timbaut is a French commune with 1,721 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Lot-et-Garonne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement Agen and the canton Le Pays de Serres (until 2015: Canton Laroque-Timbaut ). The inhabitants are called the Roquentins .

Laroque-Timbaut is about 14 kilometers northeast of Agen in the Pays de Serres . Laroque-Timbaut is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Monbalen in the north and northwest, Cassignas in the north and northeast, Cauzac in the east, Saint-Robert in the southeast, Sauvagnas in the south, Bajamont in the southwest and La Croix-Blanche in the west.
