Lafox ( Occitan La FOS ) is a French municipality with 1,141 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Lot-et-Garonne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016: Aquitaine ). Lafox is located in the arrondissement of Agen and belongs to the canton of Le Sud-Est Agenais (until 2015: canton of Puymirol ).

geography

Lafox is located about seven kilometers southeast of Agen on the Garonne , which borders the municipality in the south and into which the Séoune flows here. Lafox is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Castelculier in the north, Saint-Pierre-de-Clairac in the east and northeast, Saint-Jean-de-Thurac in the southeast, Sauveterre-Saint-Denis in the south and Boé in the west.

The former route nationale 113 (today's D813) runs through the municipality .
