Sauveterre-Saint-Denis ( Occitan : Sauvatèrra e Sent Danis ) is a French municipality with 387 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Lot-et-Garonne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016: Aquitaine ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Agen and the canton of Le Sud-Est Agenais (until 2015: canton of Astaffort ).

geography

Sauveterre-Saint-Denis is about eight kilometers southwest of Agen . The Garonne limits the municipality to the north. Sauveterre-Saint-Denis is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Lafox in the north, Saint-Jean-de-Thurac in the east, Caudecoste in the south-east, Layrac in the south and west and Boé in the north-west.
