Caudecoste is a municipality with 1072 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Lot-et-Garonne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine in France . It belongs to the arrondissement of Agen and is part of the canton of Le Sud-Est Agenais (until 2015: canton of Astaffort ). The inhabitants are called Caudecostais (es) .

geography

Caudecoste is about 15 kilometers southeast of Agen . The Garonne limits the municipality to the north. Caudecoste is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Jean-de-Thurac in the north, Saint-Nicolas-de-la-Balerme in the northeast, Saint-Sixte in the east, Dunes in the southeast, Cuq in the south, Fals in the west and southwest, Layrac in the West and Sauveterre-Saint-Denis to the north-west.

The A62 autoroute runs through the municipality .
