Tayrac ( Occitan : Tairac ) is a municipality with 397 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in France in the department of Lot-et-Garonne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016: Aquitaine ). Tayrac belongs to the Arrondissement of Agen and the canton of Le Pays de Serres (until 2015: Canton of Beauville ). The inhabitants are called Tayracais .

Tayrac is about 18 kilometers east of Agen . Tayrac is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Martin-de-Beauville in the north and northwest, Dondas in the north, Saint-Maurin in the east, Perville in the southeast and Puymirol in the south and west.
