Bajamont is a French municipality with 978 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Lot-et-Garonne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Agen and the canton Agen-1 (until 2015: canton Agen-Nord-Est ). The inhabitants are called Bajamontais .

geography

Bajamont is about ten kilometers northeast of Agen in the Pays de Serres . Bajamont is surrounded by the neighboring communities of La Croix-Blanche in the north, Laroque-Timbaut in the northeast, Sauvagnas in the east, Pont-du-Casse in the south and southwest and Foulayronnes in the west and southwest.
