Bourran is about 19 kilometers west-northwest of Agen am Lot , which borders the municipality in the northwest. Bourran is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Clairac in the north and west, Lafitte-sur-Lot in the north and north-east, Lacépède in the east, Saint-Salvy in the south-east, Galapian in the south, Aiguillon in the west and south-west and Nicole in the west.
