German Touring Car Championship 1989

The BMW M3 Evo driven by Roberto Ravaglia in the DTM.

The German Touring Car Championship in 1989 was the DTM's sixth season . The first run took place on April 9, 1989 on the Circuit Zolder . The last run was on October 15th at the Hockenheimring .

A total of 22 races were held in Germany and Belgium , each with two races on one of the 11 race weekends.

Overall winner was the Italian Roberto Ravaglia in the BMW M3 Evo with 285 points.
