Radelfingen is a municipality in the Seeland administrative district in the canton of Bern in Switzerland . The villages of Landerswil , Detligen , Jucher , Obermatt , Ostermanigen , Oltigen (French: Ostrangles ), Oberruntigen and Matzwil also belong to Radelfingen .
Geography and traffic
The municipality is located in the Swiss Mittelland and is 20 km from Bern and 7 km from Aarberg on the main road 235 Aarberg – Bern. The community is served by public transport on the Postbus line 100 Bern – Aarberg. The seat of the municipal administration is in Detligen.

history
Oltigen Castle is located in the municipality and was most important in the 11th and 12th centuries. The church, first mentioned in writing in the 12th century, was completely renovated from 1958 to 1965 under the direction of the architect and sculptor Erwin Friedrich Baumann .

Attractions
The most important sight in the community is the Reformed Church in Radelfingen, first mentioned in 1131. The rich medieval frescoes possibly go back to the Constance canons and Solothurn provost Hartmann von Bubenberg . It is believed that the church was built on the remains of Roman structures.
