Dvory (German Höfen ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located five kilometers northwest of Prachatice and belongs to the Okres Prachatice .
geography
Dvory is on the left over the narrow valleys of the Blanice and its tributary Němčský potok in the Bohemian Forest foothills . To the east, the Blanice is dammed in the Husinec drinking water reservoir.
Neighboring towns are Pěčnov in the north, Horouty and Husinec in the northeast, Prachatice in the southeast, Oseky and Zábrdí in the south, Milešin in the southwest, Lažiště in the west and Dachov in the northwest.
history
The village was first mentioned in a document in 1410.
In 1961 it was incorporated into Lažiště; since November 24, 1990, Dvory forms a parish again.
