history
The village was first mentioned in a document in 1334 as the property of Wilhelm von Strakonitz . He sold the reign of Bavorov in 1351 to the brothers Peter , Jobst , Johann and Ulrich von Rosenberg , who had the Helfenburg built as the new manor in 1355 . In the Helfenburger Urbar of 1580, 41 owners of farms are listed for Hracholusky, there were also two cottagers, three millers and one Kretscham . Peter Wok von Rosenberg joined the villages of Hracholusky, Vitějovice, Svojnice and Žernovice to the Libějovice rule at the end of the 16th century . In 1599 there are 40 families and the tavern in the Libějovicer Urbar in Hracholusky. After Peter Wok's death, Peter von Schwanberg inherited the property. Its goods were confiscated after the Battle of the White Mountain by Emperor Ferdinand II , who left them to his Field Marshal Charles Bonaventure de Longueval in 1620 . During the Thirty Years War, numerous farms were deserted. In February 1628 the village was also hit by a severe flood of the Zlatý potok. In 1801 Johann Joseph von Buquoy sold the estate to Prince Joseph II of Schwarzenberg . This placed the estate under the Peterhof . In 1835, Hracholusk consisted of 92 houses with 594 inhabitants. The village also included an inn, two mills, a board saw and an oil press. The parish and school location was Vitějovice. Until the middle of the 19th century, Hracholusk remained subordinate to the Libiegowitz estate.
After the abolition of patrimonial formed Hracholusky / Hracholusk 1850 a municipality in the district administration Prachatice / Prachatice. After the Munich Agreement and the resulting separation of the Prachatitz district, Hracholusky remained with the "remaining Czech Republic" in 1938 and was added to the Písek district. At the end of the Second World War, the place became part of the Okres Prachatice again. In 1961 Obora was incorporated, in 1976 Vrbice and Žitná were added.
