European Champion Clubs' Cup 1968/69

The European Cup of National Champions 1969/70 was the 15th edition of the competition. 33 club teams took part, including 32 national champions from the previous season and defending champions AC Milan .

With the winner Feijenoord Rotterdam , the trophy went to the Netherlands for the first time, where it was to stay for the next four years.

The participants played in a pure cup mode with (except for the finals) back and forth games for the crown of European club football. In the case of a tie, the higher number of goals scored away counted first; If there was also a tie, there was no decision game for the first time, but instead the winner was drawn directly by tossing a coin .

The final took place on May 26, 1970 in the San Siro of Milan in front of 53,000 spectators.
