The 2020/21 season of the Hamburg Oberliga is set to be the 76th season of the Hamburg Oberliga and the 13th as the fifth highest division in Germany.

Effects of the COVID-19 pandemic

On an extraordinary NFV association day on June 22nd, the final decision was made about the evaluation of the season. Accordingly, a final table was drawn up based on the quotient rule (number of points scored divided by number of games played), there were no relegations to and from the Hamburg Oberliga, Teutonia 05 Ottensen was reported as a promoter to the Regional League . Since the promotion games between the quotient runners-up in the regional league were canceled, only the best quotients were allowed to move up.
