Hottot-les-Bagues is about 17 kilometers west-southwest of Caen . The municipality is surrounded by Lingèvres in the north, Tilly-sur-Seulles in the north-east, Juvigny-sur-Seulles in the east, Saint-Vaast-sur-Seulles in the east and south-east, Anctoville in the south and south-west, Torteval-Quesnay in the west and south-west and Longraye to the west.
