Campigny is a French municipality with 189 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Calvados in the region Normandy (before 2016 Basse-Normandie ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Bayeux and the canton of Bayeux ( Balleroy until 2015 ). The inhabitants are called Campignais .
geography
Campigny is about ten kilometers west-southwest of Bayeux city center . Campigny is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Crouay in the north and northwest, Cottun in the north and northeast, Ranchy in the east, Agy in the east and southeast and Le Tronquay in the south and west.
