Le Tronquay is a commune in the department of Calvados in the region of Normandy with 776 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017). Le Tronquay is part of the Bayeux arrondissement and the Trévières canton . The inhabitants are called Tronquinois .
geography
Le Tronquay is about ten kilometers southwest of Bayeux . Le Tronquay is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Crouay in the north, Campigny in the north and northeast, Agy in the east and northeast, Noron-la-Poterie in the east, Castillon in the south and southeast, Balleroy-sur-Drôme in the south, Montfiquet in the southwest and Le Molay-Littry to the west.
