Vaucelles is located about two kilometers northwest of the city center of Bayeux on the Drôme . Vaucelles is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Sully in the north, Vaux-sur-Aure in the north-east, Bayeux in the east, Saint-Loup-Hors in the south and south-east, Barbeville in the south and south-west, Cussy in the west and Tour-en-Bessin in the west and Northwest.
