Saint-Martin-des-Entrées is a French municipality with 686 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Calvados in the region of Normandy ; it belongs to the Arrondissement of Bayeux and the Canton of Bayeux . The inhabitants are called Saint-Martinais .
geography
Saint-Martin-des-Entrées is located about 24 kilometers west-northwest of Caen . The Atlantic coast is eight kilometers to the north. Saint-Martin-des-Entrées is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Vigor-le-Grand in the north, Esquay-sur-Seulles in the northeast, Vaux-sur-Seulles in the east, Nonant in the south and southeast, Monceaux-en-Bessin in the West and south-west and Bayeux in the north-west.
