Vienne-en-Bessin is a French municipality with 297 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Calvados in the region of Normandy . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Bayeux and the Canton of Bayeux . The inhabitants are called Viennois .
geography
Vienne-en-Bessin is located about seven kilometers east of Bayeux and about 29 kilometers northwest of Caen . Vienne-en-Bessin is surrounded by Sommervieu in the north and north-west, Le Manoir in the north and east, Creully sur Seulles in the south-east, Esquay-sur-Seulles in the south and Saint-Vigor-le-Grand in the west.
