Carcagny is a French municipality with 281 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Calvados in the region of Normandy . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Bayeux and the canton of Bretteville-l'Orgueilleuse . The inhabitants are known as Carcois .

geography

Carcagny is about 8 km southeast of Bayeux . The municipality is surrounded by Vaux-sur-Seulles in the north, Martragny in the northeast, Sainte-Croix-Grand-Tonne in the east, Loucelles in the southeast, Ducy-Sainte-Marguerite in the south, Condé-sur-Seulles in the southwest and Nonant in the west and northwest direction.
