Maisons is a French municipality with 388 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Calvados in the region Normandy (before 2016 Basse-Normandie ); it belongs to the Arrondissement of Bayeux and the canton of Trévières .

Maisons is about ten kilometers northwest of the city center of Bayeux near the Atlantic coast on the Drôme . Maisons is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Port-en-Bessin-Huppain in the north and north-west, Commes in the north and north-east, Vaux-sur-Aure in the east and south-east, Sully in the south, Tour-en-Bessin in the south and south-west and Étréham in the West.
