Loucelles is a French municipality with 183 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Calvados in the region of Normandy . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Bayeux and the canton of Bretteville-l'Orgueilleuse . The inhabitants are known as Loucellois .
geography
Loucelles is about ten kilometers southeast of Bayeux and 17.5 kilometers northwest of Caen . The community is surrounded by:
- Coulombs in the north,
- Thue et Mue with Sainte-Croix-Grand-Tonne in the northeast and east, Putot-en-Bessin in the southeast and Brouay in the south,
- Audrieu in the southwest,
- Ducy-Sainte-Marguerite to the west,
- Carcagny in a north-westerly direction.
