Tracy-sur-Mer is a French commune with a population of 341 (as at 1st January 2017) in the department of Calvados in the region of Normandy . The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Bayeux and the canton of Bayeux . The inhabitants are called Tracyens .
geography
Tracy-sur-Mer is located on the coast of the English Channel on the so-called Seine Bay about eight kilometers northeast of Bayeux . Tracy-sur-Mer is surrounded by the neighboring communities Arromanches-les-Bains in the east, Ryes in the south and south-east, Magny-en-Bessin in the south-west and Manvieux in the west.
The former Route nationale 814 runs through the municipality .
