Ranchy is a French municipality with 248 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Calvados in the region of Normandy . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Bayeux and the Canton of Bayeux .
geography
Ranchy is about seven kilometers west-southwest of Bayeux . Ranchy is surrounded by the neighboring communities Barbeville in the north, Saint-Loup-Hors in the east and northeast, Subles in the southeast, Agy in the south, Campigny in the west and Cottun in the northwest.
