List of wind turbines in Lower Austria

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The list of wind power plants in Lower Austria provides an overview of the installed wind power plants in the state of Lower Austria .

Lower Austria is the federal state with the most plants in Austria. There are now (as of 2013 [obsolete] ) around 130 wind farms and individual wind turbines, with a total of over 400 systems. They have a total nominal output of around 700 MW, which corresponds to the Zwentendorf nuclear power plant , which was never connected to the grid, or about 2–3  Danube power plants .
