Quemigny-sur-Seine is a municipality in the French department of Côte-d'Or in the region Bourgogne Franche-Comté . Cuminiaculiens or Cuminiaculiennes are called their inhabitants.

Quemigny-sur-Seine is located on the upper reaches of the Seine , around 50 kilometers northwest of Dijon . The two hamlets Cosne (in the north) and Quemignerot (in the south) also belong to the eponymous place. These two hamlets are larger than Quemigny-sur-Seine itself. The municipality is dominated by rural areas, with livestock and dairy farming being the main livelihoods.

Quemigny Castle

A stately tower from the 13th century forms the core. Two round towers in the forecourt are extensions from the 16th century. The original dovecote has been preserved in one, and elegant living rooms in the other. The main building dates from the 18th century. The castle is privately owned. It has been a listed building since 1975.

In Quemignerot there is an old wash house ( Lavoir ) which has recently been restored. The 13th century chapel is also interesting.
