Aisy-sous-Thil is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Montigny-Saint-Barthélemy and Bierre-lès-Semur in the north, Précy-sous-Thil in the east, Vic-sous-Thil in the south and south-east, Juillenay in the south, Lacour-d ' Arcenay in the southwest and Dompierre-en-Morvan in the west.
