Others
- Flavigny has a well-known factory that makes aniseed sweets. It is unmistakable that each of the candies has a core made of real aniseed . Using a complex technique, the aniseed core is brought together with the candy mass in a drum for hours. This works by the mass gradually growing around the anise like snowflakes using a strong supply of air. The factory can be visited free of charge in the morning.
- In the village there is a seminary of the Society of St. Pius X.
- Since 1976 the place has been home to a new Benedictine monastery , the Abbaye Saint-Joseph de Clairval , which was elevated to an abbey by the Holy See in 1992 .
