Cérilly is a French municipality with 231 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Côte-d'Or department in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté . The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Montbard and the canton of Châtillon-sur-Seine (until 2015: canton of Laignes ). The inhabitants are called Cérillois .

Cérilly is located about 73 kilometers north-northwest of Dijon and about 69 kilometers east of Auxerre . Cérilly is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Bouix in the north, Étrochey in the northeast, Sainte-Colombe-sur-Seine in the east, Ampilly-le-Sec in the south, Balot in the southwest and Poinçon-lès-Larrey in the west.
