Brion-sur-Ource is a French municipality with 238 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Côte-d'Or department in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté (before 2016 Bourgogne ); it belongs to the arrondissement of Montbard and the canton of Châtillon-sur-Seine (until 2015 Montigny-sur-Aube ).

Brion-sur-Ource is located about 71 kilometers north-northwest of Dijon am Ource and in the Bourgogne wine-growing region . Brion-sur-Ource is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Thoires in the north, Bissey-la-Côte in the east, Villotte-sur-Ource in the southeast, Prusly-sur-Ource in the south and southwest, Mosson in the west and Belan-sur-Ource in the Northwest.
