It borders on Chemin-d'Aisey in the northwest , Brémur-et-Vaurois in the northeast, Saint-Marc-sur-Seine in the southeast, Magny-Lambert in the southwest and Villaines-en-Duesmois in the west . The former Route nationale 71 connects Semond with Brémur-et-Vaurois and Saint-Marc-sur-Seine. It was graduated to a departmental road.
