It is bordered by Montbard to the northwest , Étais to the north, Villaines-en-Duesmois to the northeast, Fontaines-en-Duesmois to the east, Lucenay-le-Duc to the southeast, Fresnes to the south, Fain-lès to the southwest -Montbard and to the west with Marmagne .
