Saint-Trojan is a French municipality with 342 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Gironde in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016: Aquitaine ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Blaye and is part of the canton of L'Estuaire (until 2015: canton of Bourg ).
geography
Saint-Trojan is located about 25 kilometers north of Bordeaux in the Saintonge . Saint-Trojan is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Ciers-de-Canesse in the north, Samonac in the east, Bayon-sur-Gironde in the south and Gauriac in the west.
