The 2002/03 WHL season was the 37th season of the Western Hockey League . The regular season began on September 20, 2002 and ended on March 16, 2003. The play-offs started on March 21, 2003 and ended with the first President's Cup win of the Kelowna Rockets on May 10, 2003, which was in the WHL -Finally won against the Red Deer Rebels .
