history

The division was formed from the main reserve of the Thorn Fortress at the outbreak of World War I and was used exclusively on the Eastern Front in the further course of the war . After the end of the war, the division remained in Ukraine and did not return fully to its home country until March 1919, where it was subsequently demobilized and then disbanded.
