6th Royal Bavarian Division

The 6th Division , referred to as the 6th Infantry Division in World War I , was a large unit of the Bavarian Army .

history

The division was established on April 1, 1900 and the command was in Regensburg until the disbandment of the large association in 1919 . She was the III. Army Corps subordinated.

First World War

Since the beginning of the First World War she fought as part of the 6th Army on the Western Front . There she was in action throughout the course of the war.
