111th Division (German Empire)

The 111th Infantry Division was a major unit of the Prussian army in the First World War .

history

The division was formed on March 20, 1915 on the Western Front and deployed there until the end of the war. After the armistice , it evacuated the occupied territories and marched home, where the demobilization and dissolution of the association took place on January 19, 1919.
