93rd Infantry Division (German Empire)

The 93rd Infantry Division was a major unit of the Prussian army in the First World War .

history

The division was assembled on September 10, 1916 on the Eastern Front , where it fought until the Brest-Litovsk Peace Treaty was signed . She then took part in the occupation of Greater Russia and intervened on the part of Ukraine in the fighting against the Bolsheviks . Parts of the division remained in Ukraine until March 1919, after which they were returned home and demobilized there .
