4th Royal Bavarian Division
The 4th Division , also known as the 4th Infantry Division for the duration of the mobile relationship , was a large unit of the Bavarian Army .

history
The large association was first formed on November 27, 1815 as an infantry division of the General Command of Würzburg. The command was in Würzburg until it was dissolved in 1919 .
German war
During the war against Prussia , the division took part in the battle near Roßdorf on July 4, 1866 and in the battle near Roßbrunn on July 26, 1866 .
Franco-German War
In the war against France , the large unit came in the battles at Weißenburg (August 4th), Wörth (August 6th), Sedan (September 1st) and from September 19, 1870 to January 28, 1871 during the enclosure and siege of Paris for use.
First World War
The division was used at the beginning of the First World War as part of the 6th Army on the Western Front.
