history

The division was formed on June 19, 1916 on the Western Front . After a brief deployment, it was relocated to the southern section of the Eastern Front at the end of August 1916 . In mid-February 1917, the division moved back to the west, where they fought until the end of the war. After the armistice , the occupied territories were evacuated and after the march home, the association was dissolved there in January 1919.
