10th Division (German Empire)

The 10th Division , also known as the 10th Infantry Division for the duration of the mobile relationship , was a large unit of the Prussian Army .

history

The large association emerged from the troop brigade formed on November 5, 1816 and was expanded to the 9th Division on September 5, 1818. On February 28, 1820 the 10th division was formed from it. The command remained in Poznan until the demobilization and dissolution of the large association in 1919 . During the First World War , the division was used exclusively on the Western Front.
