The 14th Infantry Division was a major unit of the Bavarian army in the First World War .

structure

The division was put together on August 14, 1916 and was initially deployed on the Western Front in the following years. At the end of April 1917 it was relocated to the Eastern Front . After the ceasefire on the Romanian front in December 1917, the association was detached and relocated to the west. There the division was then used until it was dissolved on September 10, 1918 due to excessive losses.
