The 223rd Division was a major unit of the Prussian army within the German Army in the First World War .

The division was put together on October 1, 1916 and initially deployed on the Western Front. In mid-May 1917 she moved to the Eastern Front and then returned to the Western Front at the end of February 1918. On September 10, 1918, the association was dissolved.
