Division of War of April 7, 1918

history

The division was formed on August 2, 1914 as part of the mobilization at the beginning of the First World War . From August 1914 to spring, the division was part of the XII. Reserve Corps (General Hans von Kirchbach ) deployed on the Western Front. From May to October 1917 she fought in Galicia on the Eastern Front and then returned to the Western Front for the last year of the war.
