49th Reserve Division (German Empire)

The 49th Reserve Division was a major unit of the Prussian army in the First World War .

history

The large association was put together in October 1914 and deployed directly on the Eastern Front. At the end of January 1917, the division moved to the Western Front , where it was in use until the Compiègne armistice . After the end of the war, she returned home closed, where she was demobilized and finally dissolved in January 1919.
