Echo Award 2000
The 9th Echo was awarded on March 9, 2000 in Hamburg in the Congress Center Hamburg . For the first time in history there were no changes to the categories. The winners of the evening with two trophies each were Lou Bega , Echt and the Buena Vista Social Club . The event was broadcast by ARD . Kim Fisher hosted the show .
